​Membership Services Representative


Position Overview: To assist with daily operations which include sales and processing of membership of the Student Activity Center as well as providing support and assisting with all administrative functions for the department.

Duties included but not limited to:


·       Major Duties: Screen, transfer phone calls and/or record messages from incoming phone calls to professional staff or to other departments; assist members and guests in answering their questions about membership to the Student Activity Center and other related departmental events and programs; assist in the one-on-one transaction of individual membership sales; handle cash operations (memberships and other related programming fees); assist with the mailing of membership renewal letters, birthday cards and welcome letters; maintain membership records and files; process memberships; assist with problem solving process for incomplete membership applications; update all logs; create class/family/departmental cards/passes; input necessary data into Aphelion program.



University Recreation staff member (undergraduate or graduate). Highly recommend that staff member must have worked as a Service Center Representative for a minimum of one semester during their tenure with the department.

Certifications Requirement

Adult, Child and Infant CPR and Standard First Aid (American Red Cross - preferred), A.E.D Certification (preferred), and Right to Know training.
