Responsibilities
Position Overview: Provide premier guest
services to students, faculty, staff and guests of Central Michigan University
who visit the University Center daily.
Duties included
but not limited to:
· Major Duties: Communicate correct information to inquiring
individuals; greet members and guests of the facility; answer the telephone;
convey accurate messages; run errands; make copies; sorting/filing and mail;
assist guests with room reservations; assign rooms using Event Management
System; other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must
be a CMU student; other related customer services experience; switchboard
experiences (preferred); ability to multi-task; maintain positive image of self
and CMU; knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn computer
software quickly; honest and dependable.
Certifications Requirement
Adult, Child and Infant
CPR and Standard First Aid (American Red Cross – preferred); Right to Know
training (required once a position is offered)
