Switch up your routine or try something new in this free "designed for you" drop-in functional training circuit that can be completed in 30 minutes or less! Every day is a new workout.
Group Fitness Classes

Motivating, enthusiastic and energy-packed instructors will lead you in classes that consist of a variety of cardiovascular activities, as well as strengthening, flexibility and relaxation exercises designed to meet the needs of all fitness levels. This is a link to class descriptions


Purchase Group Fitness Classes

All you need is your CMU ID (with access to Student Activity Center) and a group fitness pass per class! Passes can be purchased at the Guest Services desk within the Student Activity Center and get loaded right to your CMU ID card. We accept cash, check, credit/debit, and student account charge as payment.

$3 per class

$72 for an unlimited annual pass valid fall, spring and summer (as available) semesters

$52 for an unlimited spring and summer (as available) semester


Group Training Series

Strength Training Series
Sept 24 – Oct 15, 2019 (Tuesdays) | 5:30 PM-6:30 PM | SAC MP Fit

Low/Medium Intensity - No experience necessary This 4-week class serves as a long-term educational orientation to the weight training equipment. This Introductory strength training class will help you learn correct form and progressions for main compound movements in a motivating and non-judgmental environment. Space is limited to 15 registrants, minimum 3.

Yoga-Barre Fusion Series

Oct 15 – Nov 21, 2019 (Tuesday & Thursday) | 7:30 PM-8:30 PM
Tuesdays NIRSA | Thursdays Rose 134

Low/Medium Intensity - No experience necessary! Join us for a combo series class to learn the basics of both Yoga and Barre! You'll learn through the Vinyasa style of Yoga which is characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. Barre is a combination of ballet, Pilates and yoga-inspired exercises designed to strengthen, sculpt and lengthen your muscles. Please bring your own mat or check one out at the Fitness Center. Space is limited to 18 registrants, minimum 3.

Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) Yoga Series:

Nov 1 – Nov 22, 2019 (Fridays) | 7:00 PM-8:00 PM | SAC Pool

Prepare for a different experience than in the studio! SUP Yoga is the combination of yoga while stand up paddle surfing (SUP) while the board is in calm water, such as a pool. Space is limited to 6 registrants, minimum 3.
