Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND® transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. Designed for all fitness levels, POUND® provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin’ out! The workout is easily modifiable and the alternative vibe and  welcoming philosophy appeals to men and women of all ages and abilities. Space is limited to 15 registrants, minimum 5.

Station Nation 5 Week Series



Start your morning with Station Nation! During this class, our instructors will coach you through circuit style stations targeting both cardiac endurance and muscular strength. 45 minutes is the perfect amount of time to kick start the day on a strong note!

Daily Fit

Mondays - Thursdays | 4:30 PM-7:00 PM | SAC MP Fit

Switch up your routine or try something new in this free "designed for you" drop-in functional training circuit that can be completed in 30 minutes or less! Every day is a new workout.
Group Fitness Classes

Motivating, enthusiastic and energy-packed instructors will lead you in classes that consist of a variety of cardiovascular activities, as well as strengthening, flexibility and relaxation exercises designed to meet the needs of all fitness levels.


Purchase Group Fitness Classes

All you need is your CMU ID (with access to Student Activity Center) and a group fitness pass per class! Passes can be purchased at the Guest Services desk within the Student Activity Center and get loaded right to your CMU ID card. We accept cash, check, credit/debit, and student account charge as payment.

$3 per class

$72 for an unlimited annual pass valid fall, spring and summer (as available) semesters

$52 for an unlimited spring and summer (as available) semester
