Promote Your Opportunities

We can help promote upcoming advocacy, awareness, and volunteerism events.

1. Email the Volunteer Center at with the details and a digital flyer (if available). We will include it in our weekly newsletter which goes to 50-70% of on-campus students. 

2. If you have a poster, either drop it off to UC 106 or send an email attachment to Please make sure it is able to be printed on 8.5x11 copy paper. 

3. If you are looking for volunteers, please fill out our volunteer request form. All on-campus service and advocacy events are able to be promoted through us.

Volunteer Center Presentations/On-Site Service

If you would like the Volunteer Center to present to your class or organization, please fill out our presentation request form. On the form you will find a list of presentations and service projects that can be given. Once the form is submitted, a member of the Volunteer Center staff will get back to you to you within two days. If your presentation is less than a week away from the request, please call (989) 774-7685 after submission. 

Service Opportunities Available

All service opportunities, both on-campus and with local non-profits, can be found on our Engage Central Page. For those unfamiliar, Engage Central is a campus wide database which collects and tracks events from offices, academic units, and student organizations. You should have an account linked to your CMU login, although you will have to enter in additional information on your first login. If you have any difficulties, please contact our office at, call (989) 774-7685, or visit us in Bovee UC 106. 

Additionally, we encourage you to seek further information about establishing service-learning community partnerships by working with the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning​.

And don't forget you can serve too! While our programs are focused on student participants, our campus wide events and community partner volunteer needs are open to all members of the CMU community!
