CMU Alumni at America's Thanksgiving Parade presented by Gardner White

Bring your family to enjoy the 97th Annual America's Thanksgiving Parade® presented by Gardner White with Central Michigan University Alumni and friends! Your registration includes exclusive grandstand parade seating on Woodward Avenue with Alumni and friends, an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, and access to the CMU Detroit Office with private restrooms. 

Breakfast includes chicken and waffles with maple sriracha syrup, scrambled eggs with goat cheese and tomatoes, lyonnaise potatoes, bacon, sausage links, assorted pastries, and fresh fruit. We would like to give a special thank you to the Mount Pleasant Convention & Visitors Bureau for sponsoring breakfast by Kristina’s Catering.

March with the CMU Float

CMU is seeking students, faculty, staff, and Alumni interested in participating in the parade alongside the CMU float. Participants must be available on the morning of November 23, have the ability to follow the float for at least three miles outdoors, and stand for an extended period of time. Participants must be 16 years or older.  

Submit Marcher Application

Those interested in participating must submit an application by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, October 9, 2023. CMU will select 30 marchers, two banner carriers, and six alternates.
