The Center for Excellence in STEM Education invites you to join us Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the fourth annual Central Michigan University Regional Invention Convention to celebrate the problem-solving process, innovative solutions, and persuasive pitches of our student inventors!
Thanks to the support of The Henry Ford Museum, the Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow Foundation, and the Great Lakes Bay Regional Alliance, this event is free to the public and will take place in the Education and Human Services (EHS) Building. No registration required for the public to attend. Student inventors may arrive as early as 9am and general attendees are encouraged to arrive any time after 10am. In addition to listening to student inventors, several campus and community organizations will have hands-on activities available and information about their upcoming events.
Invention Convention isn’t just a competition; it’s an inspiring celebration of ingenuity and an opportunity to empower our 3rd - 12th grade students to develop the skills and self-confidence necessary to identify and impact real-world problems.
