The Capital Budget is the document that provides a long-term perspective of the capital needs of the University. The annual review and update of the capital budget provides a four-year projection concerning capital needs. The capital budget is designed to present and integrate the capital expenditure needs and funding availability.
Please note: Beginning in FY 2014-15, the university combined their Operating Budget and Deferred Maintenance Budget. The Deferred Maintenance Budget is Appendix D in the Operating Budget file. A formal Capital Budget no longer exists. The Deferred Maintenance budget reflects the capital projects scheduled each year. Individual capital projects in addition to those in the deferred maintenance budget are approved by the president or the Board of Trustees individually, based on the cost of the project.
