Tuition rates for undergraduate and graduate credit hours are provided by Student Account Services and University Billing (tuition and fee rates can be found here). A $100 late registration fee is charged if the initial registration of classes is on or after the first day of the semester.
A $100 non-payment of tuition charge will be assessed if tuition is not paid in full by 5:00 pm on the due date listed on the billing statement. This is in addition to the standard monthly late fees.
Billing statements are issued electronically. When a new statement is available for review, the student and any established authorized payers will receive a statement notification email. Billing statements may include, but are not limited to: tuition and fees, room and board, telephone, health services, bookstore, and parking charges. Bills can be paid online via the student portal at https://centrallink.cmich.edu. eCheck, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card are accepted. Please note that a convenience fee of 2.75% is assessed on all credit card payments. Cash and check payments may be paid in person at the Student Service Court in the Bovee University Center. Mailed payments may be sent to Central Michigan University, University Billing Office, University Center #119, Mt Pleasant, MI 48859.
If you received a billing statement for tuition in the current semester and you have decided not to attend CMU, please contact the Registrar's office by email or by phone at (989) 774-3261.
If you do not use your @cmich email account and wish to forward communications to an alternate address, instructions for doing so are available on the OIT website, here.
