Jeffrey Calhoun

Jeff started at CMU in April of 2012.  He has a passion for challenging students to be the best version of themselves in preparation for “the Monday after they graduate”. Prior to joining CMU, Jeff served as Director of Marketing & Producer Development at Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan and also as the General Manager of the Lansing Lugnuts for almost 10 years.  Jeff has been a Big Brother for 26 years, been involved with the National Kidney Foundation, and serves on the Board of Directors for NIRSA – NSC.

Carmen Ceja Blohm

Carmen has been recruiting part-time adjunct faculty for Off-Campus and Online Courses since 2005. Prior to this, she worked at Dow Chemical Company recruiting personnel and managing HR issues. Facilitated career transitioning employees job search for Right Management Consultants organization, as a Career Consultant. Attended California State University, at Lost Angeles (CSULA) and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education. Joined Edison International (formally Southern California Edison Company), a major utility company in California as a Personnel Representative and was promoted to Human Resource Consultant during 16 years with Edison. 

Carmen enjoys recruiting and is committed to contributing to the success of CMU's students by supporting CMU's initiatives for Student Success and recruiting highly qualified part-time adjunct faculty. Additional past assignments have included ADA Liaison responsibilities and attending Equity Council Meetings for Director. Co-chaired CMU's Dance United collaboration with United Way to raise funds for the Community from 2012 to 2017 and on the 5th anniversary of the fundraiser event, the outcome significantly outperformed their expectations. They were very proud of the money raised for those community organizations CMU supports. 


Zachary Evans

Zachary began his CMU career in 2016, serving as a Graduate Assistant for the Mary Ellen Brandell Volunteer Center. During that time, he developed a love for the Mount Pleasant community while working alongside dozens of local non-profits and community initiatives. He also helped found the Engagement and Employability Research Initiative and was a member of the first Enrollment and Student Services Graduate Assistant Learning Community.

After graduating in 2018, with a masters in higher education administration, he continued as a graduate assistant with CMU's Gold program while working on his PhD. More recently, he started as a Global Campus Academic Advisor, primarily working with the new BSN program as well as Mount Pleasant students. By working with the P&A Council, Zach intends to help staff from all areas of the institution feel confident and included in University wide communications and planning.

Hannah Fitzpatrick

Hannah began her CMU journey in November of 2014 as a member of the Global Campus' Financial Service Department. Since that time, she has also worked in the Admissions Department and in her current role as an Enrollment Specialist with the New Student Service Center. In addition to her role at CMU, she currently serves as the Deputy Clerk for the local township in which she resides. Hannah has a strong passion and interest in helping to make the overall CMU student experience a great one! 

John Jervinsky

  • Position:  Manager Distributed IT Operations/Healthcare IT

John has been a member of the Healthcare IT team since 2015. He is located in Saginaw, Michigan at the college’s Saginaw Education Building. He works closely with the CMU Medical Education Partners organization as well.  John received his Bachelor’s degree from Case Western Reserve University in 2008 and is currently pursuing his Master’s at Central. This is his first term on the council, and he hopes to help bridge the gap of communication between on- and off-campus staff.

Theresa Jones

  • Position:  Director of Clinical Instruction and Speech-Language Services

Theresa has worked for CMU for 17 years.  She attained a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Howard University.  Before accepting a position at CMU she worked in a variety of educational, medical and private practice settings as a speech/language pathologist in New York, Michigan, Wisconsin and Illinois.  She worked as a clinical instructor in the Carls Center for Clinical Care and Education on campus until taking her current position in October of 2013.  This would be Theresa’s second term on the council.  She feels that she has gained more knowledge of the P&A work groups and will seek to better inform and serve P & A staff within her clinic and the university with a second appointment.  

Caitlyn Kolhoff

Caitlyn began her career at Central Michigan University with Global Campus’ Financial Operations Department in 2015. Currently, she is a Financial Analyst for the Student Account Services and University Billing Office. In this position, she is able to help students find solutions to difficult financial situations. She is dedicated to improving the student experience at CMU and is proud to contribute to our students success. Additionally, she is a proud CMU alumna. Caitlyn earned both a B.S. and M.A. from Central Michigan University. She is beginning her Doctoral degree this Fall in Educational Technology.

Since 2013, Christine has been at CMU as a General Academic Advisor in the Towers Success Center.  She is proud to be CMU alumni with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration Degree with a double major in Marketing and Management.  Prior to CMU, Christine worked at MidMichigan Community College as an academic advisor.  She is an advocate for student success and enjoys working with students on their academic journey.  

Along with advising, Christine assists with Academic Orientation for freshman and transfer students.  She is an integral part of making CMU’s orientation a success.  Christine is heavily involved with the development of the orientation guidebook, mentor selection, and has been a member of the orientation core team. She also serves as an orientation advisor. She loves belonging to the CMU community and enjoys attending CMU’s fine arts and athletic events.  Christine believes in being an active part of the community and supports HATS, Mt. Pleasant Boosters Club, and is a member of the Mt. Pleasant Women’s City Club.  


Dan Odykirk
  • Position:  Manager/Student Service Court

Dan Odykirk attended CMU, received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in 1988 while also a member of the football team.  After graduation, he went into a family business with his father where they operated restaurants, among other development ventures.  Dan developed his customer service focus, leadership, and management skills as President of Ody Enterprises, Inc. He has been a Firefighter/ EMT for the city of Mt. Pleasant since 1991.  In January of 2012 he returned to his alma mater to manage the Student Service Court, a "one stop shop" location focusing on Billing, Financial aid, and registration, for students and employees of Central Michigan University. While at CMU he has been involved with Police Oversight committee, Financial Wellness steering committee, and New Venture Competition Mentor, along with the P & A Council. Dan went on to complete his Masters of Science in Administration degree in 2015. This will be Dan's second term on the council.
