Hannah began her CMU journey in November of 2014 as a member of the Global Campus' Financial Service Department. Since that time, she has also worked in the Admissions Department and in her current role as an Enrollment Specialist with the New Student Service Center. In addition to her role at CMU, she currently serves as the Deputy Clerk for the local township in which she resides. Hannah has a strong passion and interest in helping to make the overall CMU student experience a great one!

John has been a member of the Healthcare IT team since 2015. He is located in Saginaw, Michigan at the college’s Saginaw Education Building. He works closely with the CMU Medical Education Partners organization as well. John received his Bachelor’s degree from Case Western Reserve University in 2008 and is currently pursuing his Master’s at Central. This is his first term on the council, and he hopes to help bridge the gap of communication between on- and off-campus staff.

Theresa has worked for CMU for 17 years. She attained a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Howard University. Before accepting a position at CMU she worked in a variety of educational, medical and private practice settings as a speech/language pathologist in New York, Michigan, Wisconsin and Illinois. She worked as a clinical instructor in the Carls Center for Clinical Care and Education on campus until taking her current position in October of 2013. This would be Theresa’s second term on the council. She feels that she has gained more knowledge of the P&A work groups and will seek to better inform and serve P & A staff within her clinic and the university with a second appointment.

Sharon joined CMU as a member of the Carl's Center for Clinical Care and Education team in 2012. In 2014 she moved to the Physician Assistant Program as the Clinical Place Coordinator responsible for the oversight and placement of students with external partners for clinical experiences throughout the state of Michigan. A graduate of Hillsdale College, with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration; Marketing degree, Sharon went on to complete her Masters of Science General Administration degree here at CMU. Outside the PA department, Sharon is an active member of American Council on Education, Women's Network – Michigan Women in Education, a team leader for IPE (Inter Professional Education) for the College of Health Professions and College of Medicine Programs and volunteers for various graduate study programs. She is passionate and participates in many activities on campus to expand institutional diversity, equity and inclusion. Outside of the university Sharon has been involved with the Mt. Pleasant High School Boosters, WMU Women's Soccer Program, Sacred Heart Parish, and Hillsdale College Alumni Association, and the Women's Cross Country, and Track teams. As the newest committee member, her goal is heighten awareness and developed strategies to maximize visibility of the P & A workgroup within CMU.
Kathy A. Kelly is a native of Traverse City and graduated from CMU with a B.A. in Journalism. She earned her A.B. degree from the legal assistant program at Lansing Community College and returned to CMU in 1996 to work as a legal assistant in the Office of General Counsel, and is in her 22nd year with the office. She is a member of the University’s Accessibility and Disability Advisory Council.

Since 2013, Christine has been at CMU as a General Academic Advisor in the Towers Success Center. She is proud to be CMU alumni with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration Degree with a double major in Marketing and Management. Prior to CMU, Christine worked at MidMichigan Community College as an academic advisor. She is an advocate for student success and enjoys working with students on their academic journey.
Along with advising, Christine assists with Academic Orientation for freshman and transfer students. She is an integral part of making CMU’s orientation a success. Christine is heavily involved with the development of the orientation guidebook, mentor selection, and has been a member of the orientation core team. She also serves as an orientation advisor. She loves belonging to the CMU community and enjoys attending CMU’s fine arts and athletic events. Christine believes in being an active part of the community and supports HATS, Mt. Pleasant Boosters Club, and is a member of the Mt. Pleasant Women’s City Club.

Amy has worked as the assistant to the Vice President of Finance and Administrative Services since August of 2014. Prior to that, she was the executive secretary for Financial Services and Reporting. Her first job on campus was in the charter schools office and then she worked as the Communications Coordinator for the Office of University Advancement. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in marketing from Grand Valley State University and two associates degrees from MidMichigan College – one in graphic design and the other in visual arts.

Dan Odykirk attended CMU, received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in 1988 while also a member of the football team. After graduation, he went into a family business with his father where they operated restaurants, among other development ventures. Dan developed his customer service focus, leadership, and management skills as President of Ody Enterprises, Inc. He has been a Firefighter/ EMT for the city of Mt. Pleasant since 1991. In January of 2012 he returned to his alma mater to manage the Student Service Court, a "one stop shop" location focusing on Billing, Financial aid, and registration, for students and employees of Central Michigan University. While at CMU he has been involved with Police Oversight committee, Financial Wellness steering committee, and New Venture Competition Mentor, along with the P & A Council. Dan went on to complete his Masters of Science in Administration degree in 2015. This will be Dan's second term on the council.
Sheila began her career at CMU in August of 2000. Most recently Sheila took the position of Coordinator, Off- Campus Program Operations in Global Campus. Sheila attained her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Integrated Leadership from Central Michigan University and is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Higher Education Administration degree at Central Michigan University. Sheila is an active member of the Michigan American Council on Education and the Network for Women at CMU. Sheila has served on the P & A Council since 2015 and was a member of the 2016 and 2018 P & A Leadership Conference planning committee.
