This one hour workshop is designed to introduce you to the key factors that impact employee engagement, and how you can use a simple survey in your units to improve employee satisfaction.

Empowerment and Delegation

Empowerment is a leadership strategy for creating high-performance workplaces.  Empowered employees are typically motivated, committed, and often take on the role of a leader.  So how do you accomplish this?  Professional Development Programs will outline eight dimensions of empowerment that are critical to successful delegation and participation. Participants will understand how leaders create the environment for empowerment and will leave with an action plan to develop their own leadership skills.

Character counts.  It's all we have.  As CMU staff, what are the ethical standards to which we are being held? What policies cover our doctrines of ethical behavior? How do we report violations? This workshop is meant for workgroups or teams who would like to explore ethical decision making. Call Professional Development Programs to schedule a department or unit level retreat where these questions will be considered.
