How do you bring CMU's service values to life? Following the 15th Anniversary Service Excellence Celebration in October 2016, a list of service value behaviors was compiled based on suggestions from those in attendance.

The Leadership Standards Initiative will result in more engaged and satisfied employees, who will impact student recruitment and retention, as well as alumni and community relationships.
Facilitating Service Excellence Discussions with Your Staff
As part of CMU Service Excellence, departments are encouraged to use facilitation questions at their staff meetings or other venues as appropriate. The purpose of these discussions is to keep Service Excellence at the forefront, identify areas of improvement, and acknowledge and maintain where service is already a strength, with departments continually taking steps to sustain and enhance their culture of service.
