WORK STUDY - Seeks a Student Assistant
Freshmen and Sophomores encouraged to apply! Training is provided.
Duties Include: General clerical duties, typing, filing, answering phones and running errands; answering questions regarding employment, tax forms and I-9s; assisting students in completing tax and I-9 paperwork; providing general information to students, family members, campus office and off-campus employers face-to-face, on the phone, by email and fax; reviewing information in SAP and ProSAM and making judgments based on the information provided. Special projects include participation in Freshmen Orientation, Freshmen Move-In, File Merge, and File Purge and other duties as assigned.
Skills Desired: Organized and focused upon details; comfortable with the telephone and speaking with guests in person; familiar with Excel.
Schedule: 10-15 hrs/wk for the Academic Year. Flexible with classes. Potential for employment through next Summer 2019.
