Freshman is defined as 25 or less passed credit hours.
Resident parking permits are distributed to sophomores, juniors and seniors on a first-come basis. If space is available, some freshman students (less than 300) may be assigned to the residence hall lots, also on a first-come basis. All other freshmen will be assigned to the freshman lots (63 and 64) located away from their residence halls.
When freshman students are assigned to the freshman lots they are provided a
Freshman Evacuation Notice
as all vehicles must be removed from the freshman lots. This action is necessary because the freshman lots are also used for football and special event parking. All vehicles
be removed from the freshman lots on the dates and times specified on the evacuation schedule or they
be ticketed or towed. The fine for failing to remove a vehicle
from the freshman lots for a special event is $25.
