Position Overview: To provide service and to
ensure the safety of the Towers residents membership within the East Area
Fitness Center by enforcing policies and procedures.
but not limited to:
· Major Duties: Greet members; enforce and educate the
members and/or guests on policies and procedures of the East Area Fitness
Center; ensure that there is not misuse or abuse of machines; monitor the
membership/guest of any potential medical emergencies; clean, polish, vacuum
and/or dust machines; responsible for all opening and closing duties; complete
written reports/documents; record statistical data on facility area usage;
first responder to any medical emergencies that occur; educate members and/or
guests on equipment/machine that will work on certain areas of the body; fill
bottles with cleaning solution when empty; communicate to the department of the
condition on the equipment; informs the department of any machine which has
malfunctioned or broken down.
student (undergraduate or graduate), student who will be a residence of the
Tower Residence Complex during the academic year in which you are applying for
Adult, Child and Infant
CPR and Standard First Aid (American Red Cross -preferred), A.E.D Certification
and Right to Know training.
