Responsibilities

Position Overview: ​To provide necessary technical support and stagehand labor for any non-class event on campus at CMU and for select CMU events around the state of Michigan.

 

Duties included but not limited to:

 

·       Major Duties: Must have the ability to do multiple tasks, responsible for helping keep all UE equipment in good working condition. Assist in audio engineering and in lighting design. On call nights and weekends for events that are scheduled. Must maintain a positive image to CMU customers and the public.

 

Qualifications

Must be able to lift at least  50 pounds.; Must be able to operate a CMU vehicle; Must be able to work at heights in excess of 8 feet; May be required to work late nights and weekends.; May be required to work with limited supervision. 

 

Certifications Requirement

CPR and Standard First Aid (American Red Cross-(required); Blood Borne Pathogen; and Right to Know training (Must be obtained within 30 days of start date); must be able to pass a driving background
