*The difference between a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree (BAA) and a Bachelor of Science degree (BS) is that the BAA requires a minor and the BS does not. The minor required for the BAA often allows students coming into the degree with higher education credit to get full value from their previously earned credits by using them toward an approved minor. Please speak with an advisor if you are unsure which to choose.

**The Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) and the Master of Science in Administration degree (MSA) are both offered by CMU’s Global Campus. The MBA is accredited by the AACSB and only offered online. This is a classic business degree offered by CMU’s College of Business that emphasizes a solid foundation in finance and business management. Students have a choice of 5 emphases.

The MSA is in interdisciplinary degree that has an equal emphasis on business administration and leadership skills. The six core courses of the MSA are taught both face-to-face and online and students choose a concentration for the remaining six courses.
