Kim Gribben is currently the Assistant Director of the Master of Science in Administration Program at Central Michigan University. Prior to joining CMU in 1992, Kim worked for 10 years in the banking industry. At CMU, Kim first worked with the Educational Materials Center in the purchase and distribution of health education materials to school districts in Michigan. Kim’s next appointment was with the College of Graduate Studies in the area of international student admissions. In 1996, Kim took on the position of Coordinator with the Master of Science in Administration Program, with promotion to Assistant Director in 2006.
As Assistant Director of the MSA Program, Kim is involved in the review of Institutional Review Board applications as well as approving program plans and transfer credit requests for the 4,000+ students enrolled in the MSA Program. The MSA program is offered at CMU’s main campus, online and at program centers across the country. The program offers a concentration in Health Services Administration as well as eleven other concentrations. Kim assists the MSA Director with curriculum development and is the primary contact for MSA advisors. She frequently reviews military course work for transfer credit to the MSA program. In addition, in collaboration with the MSA Director and Global Campus staff, she has developed and facilitated faculty workshops for advisors and capstone course instructors.a B.S. degree in Psychology and an MBA from Central Michigan University. She is a member of Psi Chi (honor society for Psychology students), Beta Gamma Sigma (honor society for business students) and Phi Beta Delta (honor society for international students and scholars). A graduate of CMU’s Supervision Excellence program, Kim received a Staff Excellence award in 2006. She is active in CMU’s Network for Women. Kim is an avid golfer and a long-time member of CMU’s Festival Chorus.
