Program Formats

  Face-to-Face

Face-to-Face programs are taught at CMU centers. This is a traditional classroom format where students travel to a local CMU center at a specific time and participate in a classroom with fellow students and the instructor.

   Online

Online programs offer both convenience and flexibility to students. Courses are taught online using CMU’s Blackboard platform that allows instructors and students to interact with each other. For more complete information on what to expect from online learning, visit the Online Learning Resource Center.

/   Hybrid

Hybrid programs combine both face-to-face and online formats. Students can expect some travel to a local CMU center for a traditional classroom experience. Online work will also be required with students using CMU’s Blackboard platform to interact with their instructors and fellow students.
