SCECHs Certificate Renewal for Teachers

Please note that not all ed2go courses offered in partnership with CMU offer SCECHs. The courses that have been approved by the Michigan Department of Education to offer SCECHs are listed below.

3 Easy Steps to Earn SCECHs

Step One

Click on the course title at the bottom of this page to view course descriptions and proceed to register and pay for course. (Note: There is a fee paid directly to ed2go in addition to the payment for the SCECHs.)

Step Two

Upon completion of the course, register for SCECHs online. Click the “Continue to Payment” button to submit your SCECHs registration and electronic payment of $30.

Step Three

Submit your certificate of completion electronically to CMU at profdev@cmich.edu within 30 days of course end date.

CMU will upload eligible participants into the Michigan Department of Education’s MOECS. Participants will receive an email from the MOECS with instructions on how to access the system and obtain their SCECHs.

You must have a MOECS account to access the online evaluation. SCECHs are then awarded to your account. Evaluation notices are system-generated and sent from MOECS-NoReply@michigan.gov
