What can the graduate credit earned from the T3™ Professional Development courses be used for?

Depending on your state's requirements, you may be able to use CMU credit for professional development programs to meet certificate renewal or state continuing education requirements. Since acceptance varies by state, you should contact your state's Department of Education to verify the course will count toward licensure/certificate renewal before enrolling for credit.

If you are pursuing an advanced degree, consult first with your academic advisor at your university to verify the course will apply to your program.

Do I have to apply to CMU to enroll in one of the T3™ Professional Development courses? 

Yes, you must be currently admitted to CMU to register for a course. You will need to complete an application if you have never taken graduate-level classes from CMU or you have not taken a CMU graduate course in the last three years. The application fee is $50 and is non-refundable. The application fee is waived if you have already taken courses from CMU, or received a degree from CMU.

What do I do if I need to drop or withdraw from my T3™ Professional Development course?

How do I access my online T3™ Professional Development course? 

All of the online, three-credit hour professional development courses will be accessed through CMU's learnin​g management system, Blackboard at http://blackboard.cmich.edu. Please note: If you login prior to the official start of the term, your specific course may not be viewable.

How do I login to Blackboard? 

After your course registration is submitted and processed, you will receive an e-mail from CMU with your CMU Global ID. Your Global ID and your password will become your lifeline to CMU, as you will need them to access Blackboard, your CMU e-mail and your grade and transcript at the end of the course. Once you have received your e-mail confirming your registration for your course, log on to myaccount.cmich.edu and follow the prompts to set up your account, or you may contact the CMU Help Desk directly at (800) 950-1144, ext 3662 or via e-mail at helpdesk@cmich.edu for assistance.
