Be a Library Ambassador


The Library Ambassadors promote CMU Libraries’ resources and services through direct peer-to-peer interactions. Students selected as Library Ambassadors are trained in coordination with the Library Marketing Committee to make known the ways in which students can connect, collaborate, and succeed through engagement with the Libraries. Ambassadors also provide feedback to help shape the student experience.  

How to become a Library Ambassador  

  • Qualifications:
    • Currently enrolled CMU student 
    • Be in good academic standing, minimum 2.0 GPA 
    • Have an interest and enthusiasm for libraries  
    • Able to serve for at least one academic year

  • Represent CMU Libraries by promoting its resources and services and by helping to shape the student experience at the Libraries.
