Tawney Brooks​ ​

Tawney Brooks

Academic Year: Junior

Major: Recreational Event Management

Bio: I'm a very positive, friendly person and I enjoy spending most of my time outdoors or with my friends and family. 

What is your favorite thing about the Library? The library is a peaceful place perfect for studying or spending down time in between classes.

Favorite Book: The Great Gatsby  written by F. Scott Fitzgerald

Favorite Library Services for Academic Success: The library is crucial to my success because I use the computers and printers daily to check my email and complete assignments.


Jade Driscoll​ ​

Jade Driscoll

Academic Year: Senior

Major: English, Creative Writing specialization

Bio: I'm an Honors student originally from the Upper Peninsula. I love reading, writing, and listening to music, and I go to concerts whenever I can!

What is your favorite thing about the Library? My favorite thing about the Library is the immense amount of resources that are always available to students. Every time I think I've finally learned all the resources the Library offers, I learn about something new, which is amazing.

Favorite Book: The Comeback Season  by Jennifer E. Smith, or anything by Neil Gaiman

Favorite Library Services for Academic Success: I love the access to online research/journal articles, Documents on Demand, printing services, and the extended hours study space. I also love all of the physical books available for checkout and the quiet reading/study spaces!

Mohammad Khairul Islam

Academic Year: Graduate Student

Major:  Master's of Science in Chemistry 

Bio: I am from Bangladesh; a lovely country in Asia. I am a joyful person always like to
be active. I like cycling and traveling is my passion.

What is your favorite thing about the Library? The thoughtful layout of all the floors. Some tables are beside big glass window and some with closed view for more concentration. I can choose one depending on my mood.

Favorite Book: Uncle Tom's Cabin
