Park Library's Sarah and Daniel Opperman Auditorium is a state of the art, fully mediated special event room. It contains seating for up to 129 people, has 1 LCD Projector and screen, and 4 coinciding LCD screens. The auditorium is used mainly for special events such as guest speakers, presentations and workshops. It also played host to Governor Jennifer Granholm and Rick Snyder, numerous musical groups, poetry readings and Film festivals. If you are interested in reserving the Auditorium for your next event please fill out the reservation form and submit it electronically. A faculty or staff member must be present and be knowledgeable on the operation of the auditorium’s high-level media equipment.
If there are A-V equipment needs, the Libraries’ Facility Specialist is available up to one day in advance for training assistance. It is the requestor’s responsibility to arrange time prior to the event for instruction. Library staff are not available to operate audio-visual equipment for events. If assistance in operation of equipment will be needed, the requestor should make arrangements with OIT Help Desk or University Events. The Library will not be responsible for any charges incurred.
