Letter from the Dean…
In the Libraries we strive every day to perform a special role in supporting Central Michigan
University’s approximately 30,000 students, faculty, and staff. The vast pool of academic
information--in books, journals, multimedia resources, and more--that the Libraries have
assembled and organized, and now make available in ever more convenient ways, is a powerful
asset for student learning and faculty research, scholarship, and creative activity. The services
and study environment of the beautiful Park Library, together with the Libraries’ websites and
stores of digital information, comprise a remarkable collective resource for all academic fields of
study across the University.
I want you to know that thoughtful donors contribute critically to making our library services
excellent at CMU. With State and institutional funding always limited, private support provides
an essential margin of difference, enabling us to strengthen collections and services for all who
depend on us.
Please consider a gift and allow us to call you a “Friend” of the CMU Libraries.
