Getting to and Around the Libraries

PARKING:
There are 6 non-metered barrier-free (handicapped) parking spots on
Library Drive directly SOUTH of Park Library. There is also metered
parking on Franklin Street directly across the street from the main
NORTH entrance of Finch. Non-metered Barrier-free (handicapped) parking
spots are available in all campus parking lots, including Lot 18
directly adjacent to Finch Fieldhouse NORTH of Park Library, and Lots 27
and 28 which are adjacent to Park Library to the EAST of the building.
ELEVATORS for
access to upper floors of Park Library are located directly ahead of
the Information Desk in the first floor main entry area.
Facilities and Adaptive Equipment
The Adaptive Technology Room is located in 119
Park Library and features adaptive workstations and adaptive equipment.

Workstation carrels for library patrons in
wheelchairs are located on every floor in Park Library. Please ask at
the Research Help Desk on the second floor for more information.
Closed-caption decoders: Contact Media Services on the first floor just off the South entrance in Park Library or at 774-3891 for assistance.

Retrieving Materials
BOOKS: You may have books retrieved and held for you
at the Checkout Desk on the 2nd floor of the library. Call 774-3114 and provide
the desk assistant with the call number(s) and title(s) of the book(s)
you wish to check out.
PERIODICALS AND GOVERNMENT DOCUMENTS: Periodicals are located on the 3rd floor of the library and do
not normally circulate. They can, however, be taken to the Adaptive Technology
Room in 119 Park Library. If you need assistance transporting materials
to the Adaptive Technology Room please inform the student assistant at the Research Help Desk. If possible, please call ahead to arrange this
service. Government Documents are located on the
second floor of Park Library and may be checked out.
NON-PRINT MEDIA: DVD format and VHS videocassette format video recordings are available at the Checkout Desk. Call 774-3114 for more information.
CLARKE HISTORICAL LIBRARY: The Clarke Historical Library is located on the 1st floor of the Park Library. Although use is generally restricted to the Clarke
Reading Area, special arrangements can be made for patrons with
disabilities. Call 774-3352 for hours and assistance.
