Extended Hours Study (Park 130)

Provides study space for students after the main library building has closed.
​​​​Clarke Historical Library (Park 131) ​The Clarke Historical Library has extensive collections of Michigan history, children's literature and Native American materials
​Main Corri​dor ​The main corridor on the first floor of the Park Library provides access to the Extended Hours Study, Java City, Auditorium, The Clarke Historical Library, IT Help Desk and Media Services, and the Park Library's Lobby.
 Java City ​Java City offers assorted foods and beverages and is open during regular and extended hours.
​​ Auditorium ​This 144-seat high-tech facility is designed for hosting presentations and conferences
​ Information Desk​At the Information Desk you can ask directions and receive general
assistance in the library.
​ Self Checkout​These machines allow you to checkout books without making a stop at the book checkout desk.
​ Baber Room (Park 109)This room features art exhibits and study space
 ​IT Help Desk and Media Services (Park 101)​The IT Help Desk is CMU's main provider of technology support to the students, faculty, and staff on campus. Media Services provides a wide range of audio/visual resources as well as on-call educational technical ​support for the classroom needs of students and faculty.
​Student Disability Services (Park 120)​Student Disability Services provides services and assistance to enrolled ​students who are either permanently or temporarily disabled.
​​​​​
​​​​Copiers and Printers (CP) The copiers and printers (CP) are available for public use for a small
charge. Before using the copiers and printers you must first set up and account. For information on how to set up a personal account or on how to print, please see the video.
​Government Documents​This collection includes government information available from federal, state, international, and foreign levels of government.
Book Checkout DeskAt the book checkout desk, you can checkout and renew your books, check overdue fines, and reserve a group study room.
​Reference Desk​Reference Librarians are here to assist you with your research. You can contact the librarians in person at the desk, by phone, by email, and even by chat!
Library Instruction Rooms (P​ark 207, 209 and 211)​Librarians use these classrooms to teach users of the CMU Libraries how to find information using various electronic and print tools, and to demonstrated the services the CMU Libraries offer.
​Documents on Demand (Park 202)​Documents on Demand is a free service that allows current CMU
students, faculty, and staff to request materials that are not in the CMU ​Libraries' collections.

​​Periodical Collection A - Z Shelves containing bound issues of magazines and journals.
​Faculty and Graduate Study Rooms (Park 326 - 335 and 341 - 350) ​Central Michigan University Libraries have 40 individual study rooms available for use by CMU faculty, including emeriti faculty, staff, and graduate students.​
​Reserve Desk ( Park 319 ​)​ ​At the reserve desk, you may borrow materials that professors have set aside for use by their students.​​
M ary Dow Reading Room ( Park 319) ​Home to the CMU Libraries current periodical issues, the Mary Dow Reading Room also houses the Browsing Collection of popular fiction and non-fiction books. At the reserve desk, you may borrow class notes, old exams, journal articles, or books that professors have set aside for use by their students.​

​​​Writing Center Anyone affiliated with CMU can receive help from staff at the Writing Center. Hours of operation are Monday - Thursday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Sunday 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. To make an appointment, call 774-2986. Walk-in sessions are available during the evenin​g hours.​
