A group of Central Michigan professional sales students are among 12 teams who will compete in the final round of the
AT&T National Sales Competition.
professional sales students began the contest on Sept. 25, when the group competed against more than 30 colleges and universities in a virtual preliminary round.
In this initial round, the team had to pitch AT&T’s technology to a mid-sized insurance company. The students watched a prerecorded sales interaction then worked as a team to find the company’s needs, present a solution, answer questions or concerns, then close the deal.
The team heads to AT&T’s headquarters in Dallas, Texas, for the final round of the contest later this month.
