Contact: Heather Smith

Central Michigan University will be open Monday, June 26. All offices and buildings will be open, and events and classes will proceed as planned.

Anyone driving should proceed with caution and be aware of road closures, which remain in place throughout Isabella County. For the most updated list of road closures, visit the Isabella County Central Dispatch Facebook page.

Several buildings on CMU's campus experienced flooding Friday. Damage throughout campus continues to be assessed by CMU staff, and employees who identify issues with water in their buildings and/or offices should submit a work request online here or call the Facilities Management Service Center at 774-6547.

CMU is working in cooperation with several local organizations to respond to the flooding as part of the Isabella County Emergency Operations Center. These organizations include Isabella County, the Charter Township of Union, the city of Mount Pleasant and the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe.
