The community of caring mentors. The lifelong friendships forged. The friendly faces of students, faculty and staff. Shouting "Fire up, Chips!" anytime, anywhere on campus and hearing another person enthusiastically echo it back.

More than 2,400 undergraduate students and more than 800 master's students received their diplomas during three commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 7. The event was held at CMU's McGuirk Arena. On Friday, May 6, 89 students received doctorial degrees in subjects ranging from education to health administration.

As they prepared for commencement to begin, CMU undergraduate and graduate students took a few moments to reflect on the things they will miss most about CMU. Listen and get a glimpse into what it is like to be a CMU Chippewa.
