Time moves ever onward, and Central Michigan University's May 2018 commencement ceremonies will live on in treasured memories.
But while they're fresh in mind, have a look around at the sights you may have missed from the weekend's five graduation celebrations and the moments and stories around them.
Once again, congratulations, graduates!
190 students celebrated the completion of their doctoral degrees May 4. Doctorates awarded included audiology, education, health administration and philosophy.
More than 2,000 students received their undergraduate degrees May 5, alongside more than 700 students receiving their master's degrees.
May 6 marked a new beginning for the second-ever medical class to graduate from CMU.
Lastly, it's a safe bet Roxanne Bruhn traveled the farthest to attend commencement: The retired U.S. Air Force veteran flew from Oahu, Hawaii, to receive her master's degree. She joined hundreds of May graduates with military affiliations.
