Central Michigan University’s police sergeants have a new five-year contract with the university.
CMU and the Central Michigan Command Officers Association, which represents the sergeants, have ratified the collective bargaining agreement, said
Kevin J. Smart, CMU director of employee relations.
The new contract covers the period of July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2023. It includes a 2.5 percent wage increase for 2018-19. In contract years two through five, sergeants receive the same wage adjustments and health care contributions as those provided to professional and administrative employees.
