The search for Central Michigan University's next vice president of finance and administrative services is nearing its final stages.
The 12-member search committee has provided President Bob Davies with a final list of candidates.
Davies has invited the candidates to campus this week to meet with key members of the CMU community, including the leaders of shared governing bodies, members of the University Community Advisory Panel (leaders from the various faculty and staff unions and employee groups), university and college leadership, direct reports to the vice president and other members of the division, and other campus stakeholders. He will consider their perspectives and insights in his hiring decision.
The finance and administrative services division oversees several CMU departments: Auxiliary Services, Facilities Management, Financial Planning and Budgets, Financial Services and Reporting, Human Resources, and Police.
Provost Mary C. Schutten and Zyzelewski Family Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics Michael Alford are co-chairs of the search committee, advised by search firm DHR International.
The new vice president will replace Barrie Wilkes, who is retiring June 30.
