Central Michigan International Film Festival — Thursday through Sunday

Central Michigan University’s School of Broadcast and Cinematic Arts and the CMU Film Society will host the Central Michigan International Film Festival Thursday through Sunday in Park Library Auditorium. Click here for the complete schedule and ticket information. Contact Alex Carter.

Underground Railroad photography exhibit — Thursday through Feb. 20

Central Michigan University’s Office of Diversity Education will host a free photography exhibit by retired CMU art faculty member Nedra Frodge about the Underground Railroad and current slavery from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through Feb. 20 in Bovee University Center 108. Black History Month guest lecture by Walter Beach — Thursday

Central Michigan University’s Multicultural Academic Student Services office will host CMU alumnus and former NFL player Walter Beach for a free talk titled “Consider This” as part of Black History Month from 10 a.m. to noon in Powers Hall 136. Contact D’Wayne Jenkins, 989-774-3945.

Passport Fair — Thursday

Central Michigan University’s Study Abroad office will host a Passport Fair from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Bovee University Center’s Isabella Room. Staff from the National Passport Center and the Isabella County Register of Deeds office will be present to accept passport applications. Contact Sarah Barnard, 989-774-4308.

‘Dumb and Dumber To’ movie showing — Thursday

Central Michigan University’s Program Board will host free showings of the movie “Dumb and Dumber To” at 5 and 8 p.m. in the Bovee University Center Auditorium. Contact Kelsey McConnell, 989-774-3174.

‘Plates of Pleasant’ fundraiser — Thursday

Central Michigan University’s Mary Ellen Brandell Volunteer Center will host a Plates of Pleasant fundraiser from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Bovee University Center Rotunda. Sample food from Mount Pleasant restaurants and enjoy entertainment by CMU students.  Tickets are $5 at the door and support the Alternative Breaks program. Contact Erica Johnson, 989-774-7685.

‘Romancing Religion’ panel discussion — Thursday

Central Michigan University’s religion department will host a “Romancing Religion” panel discussion at 7 p.m. in Anspach Hall 161. Contact Laurel Zwissler, 989-774-1445.

‘The Hundred Dresses’ theater performance — Thursday through Sunday

The University Theatre company at Central Michigan University will present “The Hundred Dresses” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday in Moore Hall’s Bush Theatre. Purchase tickets through CMU Ticket Central, 989-774-3045.

Orchestra concert — Thursday

Central Michigan University’s orchestra will present a free concert conducted by José-Luis Maúrtua from 8 to 9:30 p.m. in the Music Building’s Staples Family Concert Hall. Contact John Jacobson, 989-774-3738.

‘Safer Sex’ bar patrol — Thursday

Central Michigan University’s Mary Ellen Brandell Volunteer Center will host a free educational “Safer Sex” bar patrol from 9 to 11 p.m. Groups will depart from Bovee University Center 118 at 9:30 p.m. Contact Anjanette Haggard, 989-774-7685.

Annual Real Estate Conference — Friday

Super Saturday program — Saturday

Central Michigan University’s Great Explorations in Math and Science Center will host its first session of Super Saturday program classes from 9 a.m. to noon in the EHS Building. Old Dominion vs. Central Michigan University wrestling match — Sunday

The Old Dominion University Monarchs will wrestle the Central Michigan University Chippewas at 2 p.m. in Mount Pleasant. Call 989-774-3041.

Black History Month Food Taster — Monday

Central Michigan University’s Multicultural Academic Student Services office will host a food taster with entertainment by hip-hop violinist Daniel D. as part of Black History Month from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Bovee University Center Rotunda. Soup and Substance luncheon — Tuesday

‘Hidden Colors’ documentary showing — Tuesday

Percussion Ensemble concert — Tuesday

New Venture Competition workshop — Wednesday

‘All We Do is Step and Stroll’ program — Wednesday
