American Red Cross Blood Drive — Thursday

Central Michigan International Film Festival — Thursday through Sunday

Central Michigan University’s School of Broadcast and Cinematic Arts and the CMU Film Society will host the Central Michigan International Film Festival from 3 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Park Library Auditorium. ‘Ancient Coast’ guest lecture by artist Michael Letts — Thursday

Central Michigan University’s College of Education and Human Services will host Upper Peninsula artist Michael Letts for a talk about his work “Ancient Coast” at 5 p.m. Thursday in the Education and Human Services Building’s French Auditorium, followed by a reception in the Mary Ann Beckwith Gallery. ‘Heroes’ artist Mark Newport talk — Thursday

Central Michigan University’s art and design department will host “Heroes” exhibit artist Mark Newport for a talk from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Wightman Hall 142. Contact Anne Gochenour, 989-774-7457.

Faculty Jazz Combo concert — Thursday

Central Michigan University’s School of Music Faculty Jazz Combo will perform in concert from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday in the Music Building’s Staples Family Concert Hall. Purchase tickets through CMU Ticket Central, 989-774-3045.

Northern Illinois vs. Central Michigan University gymnastics meet — Friday

The Northern Illinois University Huskies will meet the Central Michigan University Chippewas at 7 p.m. Friday in Mount Pleasant. Call 989-774-3041.

Jazz Weekend Concert featuring artist Wayne Bergeron — Friday

Central Michigan University’s School of Music will host international artist and trumpeter Wayne Bergeron in concert with CMU’s Jazz Lab 1 Band from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Friday in Warriner Hall’s Plachta Auditorium. Purchase tickets through CMU Ticket Central, 989-774-3045.

2015 Central Michigan University Dance Clinic for Kids — Saturday

Central Michigan University’s Dance Team will host a dance workshop for kids of all ages from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in Rose Arena 127. Participants will learn a routine that will be performed during halftime of the 2 p.m. CMU men’s basketball game. Cost is $75. To sign up, contact head coach Amy Bunting, 989-400-7451.

Western Michigan vs. Central Michigan University men’s basketball game — Saturday

The Western Michigan University Broncos will play the Central Michigan University Chippewas at 2 p.m. Saturday in Mount Pleasant. Call 989-774-3041.

David Garcia Project Open Session — Tuesday

Central Michigan University’s Mary Ellen Brandell Volunteer Center will host a free David Garcia Project Open Session from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in Bovee University Center 125 for those interested in participating in activities that simulate learning difficulties and auditory, physical or visual impairments. Black History Month keynote address by Michelle Alexander — Tuesday

Faculty artist Eric Tucker concert — Tuesday

Political Science and Public Administration Advising Night — Wednesday

‘The Hundred Dresses’ theater performance — Wednesday through Sunday
