The College of Business Administration's sixth annual Battle of the Registered Student Organizations, hosted by the Central Marketing Society, raised $1,500 for the Isabella County Restoration House.

The weeklong event — virtual for the first time — fosters networking and camaraderie among CBA students and faculty while showcasing talents, inspiring friendly competition and raising money for charitable causes. It featured four main events: trivia, an escape room, bingo and a scavenger hunt.

Members of Central Marketing Society put their skills to use through activities such as strategizing, planning, finding sponsors, fundraising, building relationships and promoting the event. Senior Delanie Braun, a marketing major, worked over 150 hours to coordinate the event as field experience for her event management minor.

Seven business student organizations competed alongside a faculty and staff team. This year's winner was coed professional business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi, which selected ICRH as this year's recipient.

Braun presented the donation check to ICRH Executive Director Dee Obrecht and toured the shelter to learn about homelessness and the daily operations of ICRH.
