Central Michigan Athletics announced today that football head coach Dan Enos has resigned, effective immediately, to become offensive coordinator for the Arkansas Razorbacks.

“I thank Dan Enos for his hard work and effort the past five years in building a strong football program here at Central Michigan University,” Heeke said. “We will move quickly and decisively in naming a new coach. This is an extraordinary opportunity for a leader who seeks a team that’s strong on the field and in the classroom. CMU also is an ideal setting for someone who celebrates an engaged and loyal alumni fan base.

“This is a storied program that is committed to success and competing for championships. We’ve built a true championship culture with our football team and throughout CMU Athletics, and we look forward to welcoming our next great coach,” Heeke said.
