Ticket Distribution and Use on Commencement Day
Tickets will be distributed to graduates electronically on Monday, May 4, 2020. At this time, graduates can either print their tickets, forward individual tickets to family and friends to scan on their phone or print them out themselves. Graduates can only forward a ticket once, if a graduate forwards a ticket multiple times, only the last forward will be valid; all other tickets forwarded previously will be void. Once the graduate forwards a ticket, any tickets printed before the ticket was forwarded will also be void and unscanable. Graduates must make sure they only print or forward a ticket once.
Alternative Viewing Options
For graduates who wish to invite more than four guests to attend the ceremony, additional seating is available in the Simulcast Room, located in the Small Sports Forum of the Student Activity Center. Tickets are not required for the Simulcast Room.
Ceremonies are livestreamed on our website for family and friends to watch from the comfort of their own home.
Extra tickets are not available. We regret restricting admittance to the ceremony, however seating in McGuirk Arena is limited. Guests without tickets may view the ceremony from the Simulcast Room (see above information).
Graduates must not sell their unused tickets to fellow graduates. Under no circumstance should an exchange of money for tickets occur. Instead, graduates may give their unused tickets to other graduates at no charge or return their unused tickets to Ticket Central so that they may assist other graduates.
Guests who require ADA seating should arrive at least one-hour prior to the ceremony. Special tickets are not required for ADA seating. ADA seating will allow for one companion to sit next to them. Other members in the party will be seated nearby, if possible.
