Ticket Instructions - May 15 Ceremonies

Ticket reservations will begin the week of April 19, 2021 and end on Friday, May 7, 2021.

Graduates participating in the May 15, 2021 commencement ceremonies may receive up to four (4) tickets for seating in Kelly/Shorts Stadium. Guests under three (3) years of age do not require a ticket. Tickets are for general admission. Based on the current State of Michigan Enhanced Outdoor Stadium and Arena Guidance, ticket re-sale and transferring is prohibited.

Prior to the ticket reservation period, graduates are strongly encouraged to set up their Tickets.com account. You will be required to use your CMU email address to reserve and receive your commencement tickets. Please view the below video with instructions for creating an online account.

Tickets can be reserved beginning the week of April 19, 2021. Graduates will receive an email on this date with a link to reserve their tickets. Once reserved, tickets will be distributed to graduates electronically on Monday, May 10, 2021. Graduates can then forward the electronic ticket to their guests. Graduates can only forward a ticket once. If a graduate forwards a ticket multiple times, only the last forward will be valid; all other tickets forwarded previously will be void. Once the graduate forwards a ticket, any previous barcodes will be void and unscannable.

Please remember: We are doing everything we can to ensure we celebrate graduates in-person in May, but, as always, plans during the pandemic, including the number of tickets we can offer to graduates, continue to be dependent on state and local health guidelines.
