On February 8, 2019, the National Scholarship Program hosted the first CMU Fulbright Day, along with partner offices, the Center for International Ethics, the Office of International Affairs, and the Honors Program.
Over 60 CMU students, faculty, and staff joined the campus discussion on International Understanding, Global Citizenship, the Pursuit of Peace and how programs like Fulbright promote these efforts.
Bella Barricklow: CMU Honors Student majoring in English Literature, Language and Writing, and a 2019 Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship Nominee in Colombia;
Benjamin Harris: University of Chicago Law J.D. Candidate, 2014 Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in South Korea, and CMU and Honors Program alumnus; and
Dr. Hope Elizabeth May: CMU Professor of Philosophy and Religion, 2017-2018 Fulbright Scholar in South Korea, and Director of CMU's Center for International Ethics.
