Other research: Game development/historical research on the Mexican Revolution, psychology lab research under a master’s student and research consultant/grant proposal writer for a unique film project. The film project featured a Detroit-born poet who founded a workshop retreat for black poets and is now a chancellor of the Academy of American Poets. 

Service passions: Human rights and education

Other CMU involvement: CM Life staff and senior reporter, Calkins Hall resident assistant and Jazz Lab pianist
