Senior Honors Project: “Dietary Quality and Meal Patterns of Children in the National School Lunch Program”

Presentations: Graham presented her Senior Honors Project at the 2014 Michigan Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Conference.

Service passion: Helping children to explore and reach their full potential

Other CMU involvement: President of the Honors Program Philanthropic Society, student liaison for the Student Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and Alternative Breaks in New Orleans for disaster relief and in Florida working with children and families

Favorite Honors memory: “Working with two orphanages in Oaxaca, Mexico, as part of an Honors service-learning course. The people I met, the lessons I learned and the culture I saw was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”

Favorite Honors class: “American Sign Language because we were taught with no speaking allowed! This class allowed me to explore a new component of culture and receive hands-on practice with a whole new language.”

How Honors will help you postgraduation: “Honors unlocked my potential by providing me with experiences and opportunities I never thought would be possible. The program has taught me to push my limits and strive to do my best with what I love.”
