Service passion: Medically underserved areas 

Other CMU involvement: McLaren Central Michigan Free Clinic volunteer, Best Buddies mentoring program for persons with disabilities, Health Professions Residential College board member, Pre-Physician Assistant Club member, AmeriCorps Michigan Service Scholar and three Alternative Breaks

Favorite Honors memory: “Spending the weekend on Higgins Lake my senior year at the Honors Program retreat for first generation college students. I felt connected to so many other students going through the same things as me.” 
Value of CMU Honors Program: “The Honors Program is a supportive family that challenges you to do your best and try new experiences until you find your true passion.”  

Favorite Honors class: “Honors Anatomy because I got to spend six hours a week in a lab with Dr. Saltarelli aka ‘Dr. Salt.’ He became my Senior Honors Project adviser, which vastly increased my knowledge of anatomy because of our mentor/mentee relationship.”
