CMU offers a BS, MS, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience. Neuroscience is an interdisciplinary program that integrates academic disciplines of biology, chemistry, rehabilitation and medical sciences, and psychology.

Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience
The BS in Neuroscience is designed to provide students with the fundamental understanding, academic background, technical skills, and hands-on research experiences to successfully compete for neuroscience-related jobs in the private and public sectors. This major also prepares students for admission to graduate or professional schools.

Master of Science in Neuroscience and Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience
Students entering CMU’s Neuroscience graduate degree programs will have the chance to excel through a unique mentorship model providing more individual curriculum flexibility and earlier opportunities for research than other neuroscience graduate programs. Students will design a program of study which fits their interests and needs, and selecting most of their courses in close consultation with their mentor.
