A personal comment from one of his colleague’s noted that… He is a respected mentor for students; providing them his unwavering “lifetime guarantee” of support. He is the ultimate colleague; his attention to detail is necessary and appreciated, especially as he balances a heavy teaching load with research and these service responsibilities.
He and his wife Sue, a retired Kindergarten teacher, have four grown children (Brian, Brad, Brent & Brittney) and four grandsons (Brice, Brady, Braxton, and Brandon) and one granddaughter (Brenna).
We are proud to present this faculty award to Dr. Bernard Kerr, Jr. for his long and distinguished service to his profession and to Central Michigan University.
