Undergraduate Housing

By living in one of the 22 residence halls on campus, you will find yourself at the center of campus life. Join the more than 6,000 students that choose to live and learn together and create lifelong connections that you can take with you after you graduate.

Whether you decide to live in one of the eight living and learning communities, utilize the resources at a student success center located in four of the residence halls, or meet with your hall's academic advisor, you will find the support you need throughout your time at CMU.

Apartments are available on campus for students over 21 years old.

You will need to apply for housing once you have been admitted and paid your orientation fee. If you would like to have a specific roommate, both of you must request each other during the application process. Residence hall preferences or roommate requests cannot be guaranteed but will be honored whenever possible.
