Welcome to McNair!

Greetings and thank you for stopping by.
We have a couple of important announcements...

2017 McNair Recruitment
The McNair program is funded by the U.S. Department of Education and named in honor of Dr. Ronald E. McNair who perished on the Space Shuttle Challenger in 1986, we work with low income, first generation college students and underrepresented students who want to get their Ph.D. We are producing new Ph.D.’s every year.

We formally recruit scholars every fall but we invite you to reach out to us at any time.  We want to meet you, hear your story and help you find an educational and career path that will best fit your needs and interests.  If you want to get your Ph.D. (possibly for free!) and have the opportunity to do cool research, we strongly encourage you to click here to fill out a brief interest survey telling us more about yourself.

2016 McNair Poster Session
Friday, November 11, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The 2016 McNair Scholars will be showcasing their summer research by hosting a poster presentation in the corridor of the Charles V.
