March 13, 2019 and April 26, 2019 - Central Michigan University
This on-campus event targeting underrepresented populations grades 7th through any year of college, attendees will hear women professionals speak enthusiastically, candidly, and personally about the wide range of careers in IT and related fields. The goal of the conference is to inspire and encourage students to pursue science, technology, engineering, and math industries careers and grow as leaders.
March 13th 2:00pm - 5:00pm - Bovee UC Rotunda Room
This event is open to all CMU students, regardless of gender, who are interested in technology looking to supercharge and advance their career. A panel will be featured, where 4 - 5 executive women who have professional experience in a variety of technology and leadership roles speak about their careers in an engaging manner. There will be additional professionals in the audience available for networking.
Following the panel, there will be a catered networking event where the students are to network with at least 3 panelists/attendees and enter a chance to win one of several prizes including one-time scholarships. This is a great way for students to practice networking and create connections.

This event is geared toward middle and high school students. It is designed specifically to help younger students, regardless of gender, explore future education and careers within the technology and leadership fields.
The day will include a variety of interactive workshops, guided exploration of related CMU facilities and a panelist discussion where career women and CMU students entertain questions about their careers.
