What is the project?
CMU has entered into a contract with Secure-24, who specializes in managing enterprise level, business critical applications. Secure-24 will host our CMU SAP systems, which will provide us 24 hour access to highly skilled technical talent, state of the art hosting facilities, additional computing performance and enhanced disaster recovery with lower operational costs than we currently invest. We will be migrating our SAP systems from servers currently housed at CMU to the Secure-24 sites in southeast Michigan.
When is the project happening?
The project to migrate our SAP systems to the Secure-24 environment is currently underway this summer. The final cutover will occur during the weekend of 9/18. During the project this summer, the SAP teams will perform testing and analysis to ensure that the systems will function as expected following the cutover.
