Classroom response and equipment support is now offered by the Help Desk.
Monday through Thursday, dedicated support and on-site technician assistance is available from 8:00am until 9:00pm. On Friday, dedicated support is available from 8:00am until 6:00pm. Outside of this timeframe, the Help Desk is still available for over-the-phone classroom support during its normal hours of operation at (989) 774-3662.
The phones located on or near the podium in each mediated classroom will ring directly to the dedicated classroom support and technician dispatch line. General technical assistance is also available outside of the classroom by calling the main Help Desk line at (989) 774-3662.
The mediated classroom technicians are able to assist with a wide variety of technical issues. Depending on their location on campus when an urgent technical support request is made from a classroom, the typical dispatch time for technician response is 5 - 10 minutes from when the call was placed.
The Help Desk is also available for general questions regarding the use of the equipment in the classrooms.
