Student Funding and Resources

CMU offers funding for undergraduate and graduate scholars to conduct research and creative endeavors as well as showcase their work.

Undergraduate Resources and Funding

• Student Research & Creative Endeavors Exhibition (SRCEE): A celebration to honor students and provide them with the opportunity to share their research, scholarly, and creative endeavors with a professional audience and the university community at large.
• Undergraduate President's and Provost's Awards: These awards recognize outstanding undergraduate research or creative work.
• Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavors Grant:​ This is a competitive award to offset the costs associated with a student's research or creative project.
• Undergraduate Summer Scholars Program: The program awards summer stipends to students.
• Undergraduate Presentation Grant Application: Grant to offset the costs associated with presenting the student's work at a conference.

 Graduate Resources and Funding

Programs to support scholarly activity by graduate students are administered by the Office of Research and Graduate Studies.

• Graduate Student Research & Creative Endeavors Grant:  Grants to support master's or specialist's student research.
• Graduate Student Presentation Grant:  Grants for reimbursement of expenses associated with graduate students' presentation.
• GA Conference Grant:  Grants for reimbursement of expenses associated with attending a conference for graduate assistants within the union.
